Just
got
back
from
our
little
trip
up
north.
The
signing
at
APE
went
very
well.
I
met
a
lot
of
new
fans
and
friends.
A
few
people
from
Pixar
stopped
by
to
say
hi,
and
ask
me
when
I'd
be
coming
on
board
to
work
on
Brad's
film.
The
people
at
Last
Gasp,
where
I
was
signing,
were
very
nice.
I
was
only
scheduled
for
one
hour
but
they
asked
me
if
I
could
stay
longer,
so
I
signed
for
one
extra
hour.
We
sold
out!

good
things
about
it.

January

2002
Around
Christmas
time,
I
received
an
e-mail
from
DC
editor
Matt
Idelson.
After
playing
phone
tag
for
a
while,
we
finally
managed
to
get
a
hold
of
each
other.
He
asked
me
if
I'd
be
interested
in
doing
a
project
for
DC
Comics.
I
said,
"Sure,
why
not."
Well,
looks
like
I'll
be
doing
a
cape
crusader
story.
Cool!
I'm
really
excited
about
doing
Batman.
I
already
have
plenty
of
images
floating
in
my
head.
This
should
be
very
fun.
I'll
tell
you
more
later.

Happy
new
year
everyone.
I
just
got
back
from
a
two
weeks
vacation
in
Canada.
I
had
a
great
time.
I
spent
a
lot
of
time
with
my
family,
which
was
swell.
I
love
them
all.
My
wife,
Nancy
spent
two
weeks
with
some
of
her
family
over
in
England.
We
were
actually
apart
during
the
holidays.
That
was
kinda
weird.
I
missed
her
like
crazy.
Now,
we'
re
back
in
town
and
excited
about
the
future.
I
have
a
lot
of
cool
projects
planned
for
2002,
which
I
will
discuss
here
as
their
start
taking
shape.
There's
even
possibility
of
a
project
with
one
of
the
major
comic
book
companies.
I
will
clue
you
in
on
that
one
a
little
later.
See
ya
later,
I
gotta
go
work
on
Zed
#4
now.
